Ready or not,  2009 is upon us.  Ready or not, a new president is about to take office.  Ready or not, our children are growing up right before our eyes and the cost of college tuition is on the rise.  Ready or not, some of us are approaching that age of retirement without enough in savings or a 401k to support our lifestyles.  And…ready or not…Jesus is coming back for His Church!  My question is…Are you READY or NOT?

  1. Ready or not…that remains to be seen!!! I thrive each day to be like Christ…there is always obstacles surrounding us, especially when we commit to His will and His way. I notice that when you totally and completely commit…the devil comes at you hard!!! Please keep me in your prayers so that I can remain Ready!!!

  2. Wow! I was just thinking on this last night. We have a new president, need to balance work and family in order to spend more time with our growing children, struggling to pay tuition, and wondering if retirement is even an option. Everything is happening so fast and we must be ready…or NOT. Although all of those things are happening so fast, the most important is to know where we will spend eternity. If we are accused of being a Christian, is there enough evidence to convict us? Continue teaching and preaching Pastor. We actually are listening and learning, in spite of our actions. I’m looking forward to Watch Night Service! Get better please!

  3. CM, let me find out!! LOL
I got this from the updates your church sends. Nice blogs but you SHOULD HAVE (shoulda, coulda, woulda) bought that car USED. Next time, i’ll give you the number of my used car ‘hookup’. About 3 years ago, i bought a 2003 Altima and they practically paid ME for it! It’s been awesome ever since.

I won’t joke about you not getting to vote. I know you feel bad enough already (or at least you SHOULD) ;)

    Peace,

  4. As 2008 is closing, I’m looking forward to 2009. Seeing what God has done and will do is truely breath taking. When it seems that your at your wits end God always comes through at the right time. As I get ready for 2009 I’m really going to place more faith and trust in the Lord for the promises He has spoken for my family and myself. You ask the question ready or not? Yes I’m ready for when He returns, but I hope He’s not coming too soon, still have souls I need to speak to about Christ. God Bless you Pastor
