Well let’s get to it! The new year brings great opportunity. But wait, why start something new? Why not get better with the old. Has anyone considered a “going back to the beginning” lifestyle? Perfect house, perfect working environment, perfect domestic relationship… Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to sow and reap without doing any work BUT to harvest. Do you get this? This is what the author intended. Can you handle the pressure and if not why? Hail to the Redskins!

Fellow Norbeckers…Norbeckites, lol, Life is best when we embrace a simple clean healthy lifestyle. For example, to hear and observe the staccato music and teasing dance of a woodpecker or watch 100 geese line up and fly away to their next resting place. My favorite is to walk in the rain with no umbrella, occasionally sticking out my tongue to catch a raindrop. Oh, and and while walking, don’t forget to walk or run through a water puddle and get both your shoes and socks all wet, lol. As I continue to focus on simple clean healthy living I am constantly reminded of God’s perfection. When I live simply, I feel more confident that I will catch all that God has intended for me to receive.
I agree, Pastor! I decided against making a new year’s resolution this time. And, just today, I decided that I was going to work on something that I have always had but really need to dust off - my joy. What you said from the pulpit on Sunday registered TODAY…yes, just today. And, even though I’m a little slow catching on - I am determined to make use of my God-given authority and take dominion over those things that have tried to control me. Those frustrations, dashed dreams, and little annoyances that have tried to hold my joy captive no longer have any power over me. Thank God for a fresh WORD! Good looking out, Pastor!
